Dr. Vita Petek is a researcher and Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Tourism, University of Maribor. She holds a law degree and a PhD in agrarian economics. Her research focuses primarily on wine and wine tourism, complemented by her professional training as a certified sommelier. She is currently the project leader of the international Erasmus+ REX project, frequently lectures at foreign universities, and regularly publishes scientific and professional contributions in the field of tourism.
